Refund & Fulfillment Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made through The Food Guide USA™, LLC, including The Taco Guide™ and any other related products or editions. The terms are legally binding for all customers within the United States.

By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated herein.
1. Shipping
We offer free standard shipping on all orders within the United States. Once your order is processed, you will receive a tracking number via email.

The Food Guide USA™ is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, incorrect addresses provided, weather conditions, customs, or events beyond our control.
2. Refunds – 14 Days (Unused Products Only)

Refund requests will be considered within 14 calendar days of delivery, only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The book is unused and in new, resalable condition.
  • It has no stamps, stickers, marks, writing, or alterations.
  • The request is sent by email to [email protected] within the 14-day period.
  • Our team pre-approves the return in writing.

If approved:

  • The customer must cover the shipping cost for the return.
  • A $10 restocking and processing fee will be deducted.
  • Original shipping will not be refunded, except in verified cases of manufacturing defect.

Refunds are issued only after the returned product is received, inspected, and approved.

3. Final Sales – Used, Altered, or Out-of-Term Products

No refunds will be granted under any circumstances if:

  • The book has been used, stamped, written in, marked, altered, or tampered with.
  • Voting pages or stickers have been removed, used, or damaged.
  • The request is submitted after 14 days of delivery.
  • The claim is based on personal opinions, dislike of content, or restaurant selection.
  • The restaurant has closed, changed management, or refused to participate.
  • The customer experienced travel issues or was unable to use the book on time.
  • There were errors in the address provided or damage caused after delivery.
  • The customer attempts to resell, digitize, scan, or replicate the content.

These products are considered final sales.

4. Books with Manufacturing Defects or Printing Errors

If your book arrives with a verifiable printing defect or manufacturing error, we offer a free replacement or a full refund, including shipping.

To qualify:

  • Submit your request within 14 days of delivery.
  • Email [email protected] with your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs of the defect.
  • Our team will assess whether the product qualifies as a manufacturing defect.

Minor imperfections that do not affect use do not qualify as production errors.

5. Returns – Requires Prior Authorization

All return requests must be approved in writing before shipping the product back.

  • Order number

  • Reason for return
  • Photos if applicable

Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after receiving and inspecting the product.

6. Disclaimer and Legal Limitation

The Food Guide USA™, LLC is not responsible for:

  • Changes in restaurant participation, closures, or refusal to honor offers.
  • Food quality, service, allergies, or personal experiences at restaurants.
  • Lost or stolen packages, or packages marked "Delivered" by the carrier.
  • Travel delays, scheduling conflicts, or inability to use the book.
  • Damage caused after delivery.

Our books are limited editorial publications created for cultural purposes, not guaranteed promotions or coupons. They do not imply a contract or commercial affiliation with the included restaurants.

7. Jurisdiction, Legal Enforcement, and Brand Protection

This policy is governed by the laws of the United States of America. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts where The Food Guide USA™, LLC operates.

Brand and Intellectual Property Protection All names, logos, structures, styles, designs, texts, stamps, stickers, and titles—including The Taco Guide™, The Food Guide USA™, and their editions—are the exclusive property of The Food Guide USA™, LLC, protected by copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws.

Immediate legal action will be taken against any attempt to:

  • Reproduce or modify our products.
  • Create derivative products or imitations.
  • Use similar names, designs, or styles.
  • Distribute scanned digital versions.
  • Market similar products without authorization.

This includes lawsuits for damages, cease and desist orders, and recovery of legal fees.

Fraudulent Refunds and Chargebacks Any payment dispute without prior contact will be contested. Customers who submit false claims or attempt refund fraud will be excluded from future purchases and may face legal action.

8. Acceptance of Terms
